Web Design Hourly Development

What is Design Hourly Development?
In some circumstances, HostPoppy’s WordPress Design or Maintenance Plans may not be appropriate for certain specialized needs. In these cases, our Web Developers are available on a per-hour basis to help bring your vision to life.
How does the Design Hourly Development process work?
Your first step will be to meet with a Website Design Consultant. During this meeting, we will document your needs. After concluding the call, your Design Consultant will draft Scope of Work and estimate, including the number of hours we expect your project to take.
After approving the estimate your work can be scheduled. At the conclusion of work, you’ll receive an invoice which will include the billable hours to complete the project.
What happens if it takes the Web Designer less time to complete the project than quoted on the estimate?
When drafting an estimate we will typically quote based on what we believe will be the maximum number of hours your project will take to complete. In many circumstances, the final work will take less hours than quoted on your estimate. If that happens, we will only bill for the time it took to actually finish your work.
How do you round billable hours of work?
Each project will be charged a minimum of one billable hour. After the first hour, work will be billed in periods of 30 minutes (0.5 of an hour) and rounded up to the nearest increment where applicable.
